Amazing experience. Thank you so much to John who showed us round the whole place, my girlfriend and I absolutely loved it. The animals were amazing and really well cared for, it was a privilege to be part of this for just a day. Mike

We highly recommend this family and volunteered run place. We have had such an amazing afternoon being shown round by Charlotte and input from Lyn and owners Charlie and John. Charlottes knowledge of the animals was brilliant and she gladly answered any questions we had.The animals are well cared for and certainly have unique personalities, especially Bobby! We loved the Meercats climbing all over us, holding the owls and stroking the raccoons. It is very impressive to see all the hard work that is going into building enclosures for these animals. My advice would definitely wear wellies. We look forward to coming back x

We spent the afternoon here today. Please support the rescue and the wonderful work they do. It wasnt so much an encounter as time spent with like minded animal enthusiasts. Charlotte volunteered her time in the sweltering heat to introduce us to a range of animals. They all have names. She knows their temperaments likes and dislikes. Unhurried and very welcoming….. like time with friends. I’d be happy to return

Open to the public due to necessity rather than exploitation. This wonderful refuge for rescued animals gets by on donations, dedicated volunteers and pure good will. No fancy enclosures just wonderful examples of some beautiful animals. The experience offered allows you to enter the enclosures with a chance to feed or pet in some cases animals that would usually for their own good avoid us. John showed me, my partner and our 8 year old son with autism around. His knowledge and passion for the animals welfare was heart warming. John was wonderful, patient and understanding with our son who decided that was the day to be suddenly afraid of animals. I cannot recommend those experience enough. Please be aware, this is not a commercial set up, it’s not fancy so prepare for the elements, you will most definitely need wellies.
