We are committed to promoting good animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, working to improve the lives of the animals and people in our community. We work with local partners such as schools, businesses and communities and attend a variety of events to raise awareness of the needs of animals and the work that we do.
Any donation you can provide us will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you would like to donate items they can be dropped off to us on any day between 10am and 1pm, to our donation bin at Pets at Home in Orpington or to our donation trolley at Asda in Swanley.

Donate in Loving Memory
We know how hard it can be when a loved one, whether human or animal, passes away. A gift in their memory is a wonderful way to remember them and celebrate their life. There are many ways that we at SCAR can help you do this.
Sponsor a Memorial Bench
Our first memorial bench was to remember our own dear pony Rascal who was the inspiration for many at SCAR to continue their work. Rascal’s bench provides a place to sit and remember him whilst looking over all that we have achieved and continue to do for our animals. If you would like to sponsor your own memorial bench in memory of a loved one please get in touch (prices start from £300).
Leave a Gift in your Will
SCAR runs almost entirely on generous donations and we would not be able to continue our work without that support. A gift in your will can help us to continue rescuing unwanted and neglected animals to provide them with a healthy, happy forever home.
Funeral Collections
We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of family members who choose to collect on our behalf when a loved one passes away, instead of using traditional flowers. As a thank you we list these generous donations on our memory page.
