About Norman
Hi everyone, I’m Norman! If you’ve ever visited Second Chance Animal Rescue, I’ve probably been the first to say hello. I’m a happy, playful donkey who just loves cuddles, scratches and all the attention I can get. You’ll usually find me in my lovely enclosure with my two donkey friends and my very best buddy, Paddy, the miniature Shetland pony. Paddy and I are absolutely inseparable. I follow him everywhere and keep a close eye on him. In fact, if he goes off to see the farrier without me, I’ll bray and cry until he comes back. That’s what best friends are for, right?
When I’m not busy keeping an eye on Paddy, I’m showing off my other talents of professional dust rolling, part-time comedian and full-time heart stealer. I’ve got a fluffy coat, the cheekiest grin and a personality that’s impossible not to love. I bring a lot of joy and a few giggles to the volunteers and visitors every day, with my goofy antics and big, gentle heart.
